Pilobolus

Last Friday we went to see the dance group Pilobolus. They were really funny. They spinned around a lot, and it looked like so much fun that I wanted to do it. I loved the WHOLE show! by Frankie Joy

Learning to Read!

Frankie is really starting to read! She's been reading tons of books, and also loves to visit the Starfall.com reading website for extra practice. We are starting a 'Books We've Read (2006)' list on the side of our blog to help keep track of books Frankie and Zoe have read, or love to read over and over again! Frankie's Rainbow Day

Today was Monday, May 15, 2006. We went to Tree House Tots. We unwrapped our pumpkin seeds from last week. They germinated. We looked at them under the microscope, and it looked like they had porcupine hair. After that we went to my friend Zack's place and looked at a slide of his blood under his microscope. We played hospital, and after that it stopped raining and so we went on his swingset and made funny machines with Zoe and Leah. Then we saw one of Zack's friends and we went home and watched Clifford and Arthur on Channel 12. Then we ate an apple and had dinner. It was a yummy dinner. Later we saw a rainbow. It was amazing! Bye, Frankie!

The Discovery Day

Today is Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Today we saw a snake. It was grey and brown. We think it was a Garder snake, but we have to look it up to be sure. Here is a list of some other things we did today: We went to Lanoce playground, we gardened and discovered an ant colony and saw ant eggs (and made an ant house), we ate chocolate chip bars for snack, we rode our scooters, we wrote with charcoal, we made a birdbath, we read CLIFFORD LOVES ME, and now Frankie is writing a book for Phoenix about seahorses (for his birthday.)

It was a very nice, and warm day today.
